Description:

Lsm.lv serves as the unified news portal for Latvijas Televīzija and Latvijas Radio. It is developed collaboratively by staff from both public broadcasting entities and features their jointly produced informational and analytical content.
Through the Lsm.lv application, users can conveniently access news on their mobile devices and receive notifications about particularly significant events. The primary objective of the portal is to present content created by both public broadcasters in a format optimized for online consumption.
The first operational day of Lsm.lv is considered to be February 3, 2013.
In March 2014, Lsm.lv was awarded the "Excellence Award" by the Latvian Journalists' Association for the best media visualization of 2013. The award was received by its creators, Markus Kokanens and Teemu Hotti, for their publication series "Research in Comics."
Additionally, Lsm.lv was a recipient of the NEPLP traveling "Pioneer" award in 2014 for innovations in radio and television broadcasting during 2013.
